Hello Venice_Update 26.12.2011

The return
Dear friends, this trip was successfully completed. It 'was a beautiful sunny day and we again visited Venice, but not the last. It 'a good workout photo. These photos were taken during the trip back to the mainland. In this case, usually without the help of the ferry and I must say that the path is very interesting and has many positive surprises. Enjoy and see you next post.

The clock tower

The Clock Tower on the main facade has a beautiful face to the Square with blue enamel and gilding that shows the signs of the zodiac with the moon phases and of course to mark the hours. The terrace of the clock tower at its center, a bell is struck every hour by the "Moors".

The bridges of Venice

Old buildings inhabited by ghosts, the smell of old things from the narrow streets, the atmosphere hushed in time that does not want to ever make you sink into a magical dimension, hardly understandable by those who have never been and that "surely "at least once, the will visit.

  5. Hi Deb;
    Rome is a bustling city, with heavy traffic from cars. Venice is another world. The cars are not there, we move on foot or by vaporetto. Near Venice, you may also visit other cities of the Veneto, Verona (Romeo and Juliet), Padua with the Basilica del Santo and Vicenza with its Venetian villas. (ville venete)

  7. I only got to spend one day in Venice but even with the crowds it was one of the most peaceful cities I"ve ever visited. It's amazing the difference a lack of cars make
