After passing through the Roman Gate Jubilee leads to the Sanctuary of the Seven churches: six chapels entitled to as many Roman churches to which the Pope Paul V,in 1605, granted the privilege of 'plenary indulgence', as the inscription in Latin "Romanis Basilicis pares" the Porta Romana.
The Way of the Seven churches
The Way of the Seven churches of Monselice is a peculiar and fascinating journey votive.

From left to right:
1st Church: State St. to Mariam MajoremWithin the six chapels are large altarpieces, painted by Jacopo Palma the Younger, painter preferred the Venetian Serenissima Republic. Description of the canvas:the altarpiece of the Madonna is the ascent to heaven. The composition is typical of the Venetian Mannerism.2nd Church: State St. to Joannem Lateran. Description of the canvas The painting shows a top view down the figure of St. John the Baptist immersed in a natural and wild area.3rd Church: State to S. Crucem in Jerusalem. Description of the canvas The Palma devote considerable attention to the folds of the garments and Helen has the same face of the Madonna della Pala earlier Venetian seems a commoner with his face resting on the enormous reclining diagonal cross.



4th Church: State St. to Extra Muros Laurentium. Description of the canvas At the bottom of this blade and 'highlighted the basilica of S. Lorenzo outside the walls, which the church and the painting are dedicated. In the upper part of a winged putto holds in his left hand the symbolic palm with his right wears a crown. 5th Church: Statio ad S. Sebastianum. Description of the canvas The pose of the saint and twisted emphasized and valued from the tree,symbol of nature. 6th Church: State St.Petrum et Paulum. Description of the canvas The two saints are facing a silent dialogue. Obvious symbols of the two saints: the keys, the sword. The large coat combines the two figures caught in fast-moving, while the angel ends up space.
